Sydney-based MfaT founder and designer Danielle Atkinson applies her love of fabric design and screen printing to her garments.

Designs are created by hand - whether it be the widescreen hand-drawn collage of 'Landscape', which for some months dominated a wall of Danielle's workspace, growing piece by piece, the stressed swathes of rollered and daubed paint of 'Brush stroke' [pictured right],or the bold block colours of the popular 'Cloud trapeze' dress.

Hand printed and made in Australia, each of the garments maintains the individuality and energy of Danielle's original repeat print fabric designs.

Milk From A Thistle has evolved naturally since the launch of its first range in 2007, keeping core values in place - original fabric design on garments that are both stylish and wearable.

A grassroots approach has led to an ever-growing number of stockists and ever-more fans.
