The pattern “Fruktlåda” or “Fruit-box” was produced in many different colour combinations and it has probably been adjusted to the trends of different periods. Here Ljungbergs have chosen two colour- combinations on a white ground and two on a ground in colour and printed them on a half-linen quality.
Stig Lindberg´s very special and slightly eccentric, fanciful colours and forms continue to fascinate. After the successful 2006 exhibitions at the National Museum of Art and at Gustavsberg´s, the “Stig Lindberg-wave” rolls on without any signs of subsiding.
From the very start it is Ljungberg´s Textile Prints that has printed Stig Lindberg´s patterns. Ljungberg´s are still in possession of the colour samples and printing instructions from 1947 to well into the 1960s.
